Indian Idol 11 winner is Sunny Hindustani from Bhatinda. Sunny, who mostly sang songs of Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan on the show, won the coveted trophy. The boy Bhatinda won the trophy Indian Idol 11 and the prize money of Rs 25 lakh, a car and a singing contract with T-Series.
In the end the night, sunny sang a medley of songs that included Mere Rashke Qamar and Halka Halka Suroor.
The first and second finalist of the show Rohit Raut and Ankona Mukherjee Rs 5 lakh each while Ridham Kalyan Ghosh and Adriz who were fourth and fifth on the show, took Rs 3 lakh home. Each finalist also received Rs 1 lakh check for Lotus Herbals baskets and gifts from sponsors.
